Laurens van Geffen

As officer at the Dutch Marine Corps Laurens van Geffen worked 16 years under extreme circumstances in different parts of the world. This experience stimulated his resilience and the conviction to get most out of life. Laurens has built a strong track record in HR, with a strategic broadening in digital. As a leader, coach and trainer he has a solid, personal vision and he always finds a pragmatic balance between soft and hard skills.

In diverse profit and non-profit organisations Laurens has managed many organisational and cultural change processes over 30 years, from positions in HR, finance and IT. In addition he founded the Meaning Leadership Institute, a network organisation focused on sustainable change of businesses, lifestyle and perspective. Laurens notices (in)visible talents within teams and organisations which he manages to bring out in an authentic way.

As executive coach Laurens coaches individuals in identifying their goal in life, as the most intrinsic motive. He is a quick thinker and is action oriented, but always with a healthy realism and loyalty to the whole.

Laurens has been married for 25 years and has two beautiful daughters. Spending time in nature and being surrounded by animals, is an important factor to him to consciously live a free life.
